Netflix’s released their first hip-hop talent competition TV show ‘Rhythm + Flow’ on the 9 October 2019, and to be quite honest in comparison to every other show of this nature, it was the best talent show I’ve ever seen. The new 10 episode competition series, saw  Netflix select artists from Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and New York, in search of finding the next big undiscovered hip-hop artist and transform them into a major star.  The format of the competition starts out with contestant auditions to narrow the playing field to 30 contestants, moving on to rap battles, music videos, collaborations with acclaimed artists and a finale, for the total takings of $250 000 in prize money.

So who are the judges? Well, the judges need no introduction in terms of their musical achievements in hip-hop, comprising of Cardi-B, Chance The Rapper and T.I. selecting who progresses to the next round.  In my opinion, the first season was addictive, extremely entertaining and would highly recommend that you add this to your Netflix viewing playlist!
