REWIND | “One Of The Best Yet”: In memory of Gang Starr’s ‘G.U.R.U’

To celebrate Keith Elam better known as G.U.R.U.’s birthday , a founding member of the iconic hip hop group Gang Starr who would have had his 61st birthday this year July 17,2022, we flashback to Gang Starr’s posthumus album “One Of The Best Yet” released in 2019. The rap duo’s most recent offering featured J.Cole on the album track ‘Family and Loyalty‘,  a song that pays homage to the legacy of Gang Starr and late Guru who tragically passed away from cancer in 2010. Gang Starr dropped two singles from the 16 track album,  featuring artists like Q-Tip, Royce Da 5’9”, Talib Kweli, Ne-Yo, Nitty Scott and more to name a few.
